Special Project for Youth Midleton
Special Project for Youth is currently operating from Mallow, Fermoy & Midleton, and is funded by the Dept of Children & Youth Affairs. The purpose of these projects is to work with young people (aged 12 – 18 years) who are most in need of intervention/ support/ activities. SPY aims to meet with young people, build up appropriate relationships with them and work with them on individual needs.
SPY works with young people in small focused groups, creative groups or on a one to one basis. These projects values young people and their continued involvement in the project. The project recognises now more than ever the need to be flexible, resourceful and creative in how it responds to young people. This project is always open to suggestions & feedback regarding new ways of working or being more accessible to the youth locally.
