Music ProjectMonday 4 – 6 pm Youth Centre Mallow
This project has been running now for a number of years and it provide space and the opportunity for young people to come together to enjoy music. The projects helps create young bands and develop solo artists. The focus is on creating an environment where young people feel safe and comfortable to perform for each other. We encourage young people to form bands or develop individually. The project is centred on the Irish Youth Music Award, where artists are to write and perform an original song. Winners are sent to Dublin to take part in the National Irish Youth Music Award. The winners get to record their original song along with the rest of the project.
