CDYS Youth Work Ireland

The CDYS youth council is a group of young people who come together to represent the voice of youth in their area. The youth council meet regularly to influence the direction the youth service takes by giving feedback on what young people need. The group can act as an advisory to the local youth service but can also feed into the organisational Board of Directors as well as lobby local counsellors. Youth councils take part in Comhairle na nOg & Dail na nOg and are also encouraged to undergo leadership training.
